Huge waves rolling onto the shore, sucking back gravel and stones provide extremely powerful images.  In my seascape paintings of stormy seas my aim is to immerse you in this huge power without getting wet!

However, the sea is not all about power and destruction.  A walk on the beach on a calm evening, when the sun is sinking into the waves widens our horizons and makes us realise that we are part of something much bigger.  I love painting calm seas with huge skies that convey a sense of peace and belonging.
