Pets, being it dogs, cats or horses, play an important part in our lives. They are part of the family and love us with no questions asked. A good pet portrait should ‘be alive’ and you should have the feeling that your pet can step out of the painting at any moment!
This is what the owners of Muttli said when they saw the painting of her:
“Hi Frans – thank you so much, this is a really lovely picture and we are very happy with it. You have so caught her – and what I love best is that it really shows the ‘feeling’ sense of her – Muttli in a pensive mood, slightly vulnerable – I don’t know how you have done it.”
“We think it’s great. Just love it. It embodies her scruffy nature and her deep brown eyes that can hold you for minutes without blinking, I think you’ve caught her spirit well. I don’t know how you do it. I am in awe. Thank you again.”
